Zoku, Kono Subarashii Sekai ni Bakuen wo! Chapter 4 – Translated by Uranophane (yuNS translations)!

And we continue with the Web/Light Novels updates that I’m interested in and that I wish to share to the world! This is Kono Subarashii’s time: to be more precise, I’m talking about the free online released sequel of the spin-off of the main series (which is damn good and hilarous. It’s a… huh, comedic Isekai, seriously read it, oh and it has been licensed in English as Konosuba: God’s Blessing on This Wonderful World! by Yen Press, so you shouldn’t have any problems finding it).

Many thanks to Uranophane (yuNS translations) for translating it! (it was translated by yuNS before, but reality strikes all of us equally, that bitch).

This, naturally because you obviously already have knowledge about KonoSuba and all its spin-offs and whatsoever. Yep. You don’t? Poor soul, google it. I’m too lazy to do it, and time is looking at me like it wants to kill me.

So, the sequel of the spin-off Gifting this Wonderful World with Explosions! is named… Continued, Gifting this Wonderful World with Explosions! Truly a masterpiece in naming. Jokes aside, it is only a free release made to celebrate Megumin’s victory in the 1st KonoSuba popularity poll. It takes place between volume 8 and 9 of the main series, and it is already completed.

I strongly suggest reading it (naturally with the thought that you already love the main one, because it’s funny as hell, and I mean the Light Novel, not the Anime adaptation nor its second season, which isn’t as good as its original source in my opinion. I do suggest watching them for the… particular animation after having read it though). Especially if you’re a Megumin’s supporter. This chapter truly surprised me with her… assertiveness, but that’s not all.

NGHHHHH, my heartttt.

Her adventures with the side characters are really heart warming, funny and interesting. Well, it’s always nice to have more of KonoSuba anyways.

Chapter 4 – The Striking Thieving Group

Thank you yuNS and co. for bringing us this pearl.

Hello everyone! It’s been a while. While I’ve been working on TLing on and off, Uranophane has took it upon himself to translate Continued, Explosions! According to him, the translation was done roughly and hastily, but I believe it’s quality is more than passable. He’s available on discord under Uranophane#7912 if you’d like to contact him.

Actually, Uranophane has actually completed the translation of the entire volume, and the posts will be updated as the editing comes along.

As for me, I’m finally back home after a brief disconnection from the world with my laptop charger breaking overseas. Here’s a page from the limited edition artbook that I’ve finally been able to open.  On another note, the Drama CDs have been taken down (again) and I’ll be working on some alternative, likely streamable and MEGA.

Finally, enjoy the read, and remember to thank Uranophane (and not me) for his work!

Trivia: It’s been 6 months since the last Continued, Explosions Chapter.

The 3rd spin-off of Gifting this Wonderful World with Blessings! The spin-off focuses on the activities of Megumin, Yunyun, and Alice(?) during the timeframe between volumes 8-9 of the main series. Megumin, inspired by a mysterious masked thief, forms a chivalrous thieving group for the sake of the people!

Light Novel Translation, which for whatever reason isn’t on MAL. Yes, I’m quite annoyed by it.

Your average and pessimistic otaku who was saved by Anime first, then Manga, to only be saved once again by Light Novels and Visual Novels. Thus tries to spread their worlds, without much success though: there are mostly rants about Reality getting in the way to access the AMLNVN World. Oh well. Screw it. I'm most of the time dead tired, not to mention I've discovered I'm more of a "watcher" than a "creator". Thus do not expect too much activity. I do try my best to be of help to the Otaku community though, but as a lowly leecher who doesn't know the Superior (Japanese) language (nor Chinese nor Korean), I can only share things Translators-sama's godly works.
